Summer at the Four Seasons pt. 3
July 7, 2010Summer at the Four Seasons pt. 2
July 6, 2010I have to mention how delicious the Fillet Mignon was. Perfectly marinated with a flavorful jus. The broccolini was snappy and fresh. The dished could have been presented a bit warmer as we were the last to be served. I also want to mention the 10th photo down. The Soul Pose, where you see the couple side by side, represents their journey together as peers moving towards their future together. Yes, just when you thought I couldn’t get any dorkier… I did it! : ) I also love the “key” charm on her necklace, btw.

July 5, 2010Summer at the Four Seasons pt.1
June 30, 2010This day was a scorcher! We were expecting rain, which did happen earlier in the day but was followed by a sunny and humid 80+ degree day. Again we found ourselves at the Boston Public Gardens directly across from the Four Seasons Boston. It’s a beautiful venue with an ironically understated decor. The food was not understated though…. it was very flavorful and quite spectacular. The Emmanuel Church in Newbury St. was a bit dark which made for tricky exposures but all in all an amazingly beautiful church, great wedding and the photos came out great.

June 21, 2010I’m Getting Married Right Now!
June 19, 2010I just wanted to give a shout out to myself and my fiance… if I may. Within 30 minutes of this post, I will be a married man. My heart just jumped as I wrote that! I love her so much… I found a beautiful, intelligent. strong, caring, open hearted woman. She’s a great partner and wonderful mother to our daughter. Here she is… Here we are! Yay for love and marriage!
Our Rising Star
June 16, 2010OMG, check out Polina our associate photographer! She photographed this couple’s engagement session recently in the Public Gardens and Beacon Hill area of Boston. We’ve been working with Polina for quite some time now and she’s doing wonderful work. She was able to capture the couple in such an intimate way and with so much tenderness. The photos are fresh, inspired and surprising. With Polina as the photographer and DiasPhoto handling the editing, album design and overall post production; this is an affordable, quality oriented way to go for your wedding photography. We’re very happy with Polina… if you couldn’t tell : ) Her calendar is booking up well for 2010. If you’re still in the hunt for a photographer for this year or next, email us at Edson {at} DiasPhoto {dot} com

June 14, 2010Raspberry Pink Country Wedding pt. 2
June 8, 2010A finger gently rests upon a dresser; the necklace has been clasped and the earring hangs beautifully. It’s a delicate moment when a woman finally looks herself in the mirror and sees a bride. The dream, the anticipation and all the planning have come to a grinding halt today. Today… she’s a bride celebrating love. This 2nd post of our pink country wedding at Zukas Hilltop Barn comes ripe with pink Calla Lilies, cupcakes, and flaring dresses. Hooray to the married couple!
