Real Artists Steal

March 6, 2012

First I have to pay homage to Jack Vettriano who inspired this shot.  I know that the original painting was not on ice skates but… I’m OK with that  : )   It totally reminds me of a cold wintery scene.   Because of our initial idea, we scheduled this e-session which lead to my actual favorite photo from the day.  This seems to always be the M.O… plan a photo, put all this time and effort into it, do some random other shot on the side… random other shot becomes the winner.  Blammo!

White Photo Shoot

February 28, 2012

We are in the midst of executing our new business plan which partially consists of a photo shoot, promo video, new head shots, new website and a website release party.  Below is the first installment… the White Photo Shoot!  (   :^D)

Dress – Lazaro, Shoes – Jimmy Choo, Special thanks to Mike Ritter at Ritterbin Studio, Sonya Ferreira-Cunha of Sonya Lee Events, Heidi Finn, Polina Kelly, Michelle Bruneau and Kevin Crets at BlueGuava Flowers

Here we go again!  See our work in Southern New England Weddings magazine on page 210 and 211!  I got pretty lucky with the bottom right photo of the fire pit when it got bought for use on a billboard… whoah  (   :^D)

Love So Close

September 29, 2011

Congrats to the young couple! They had a beautiful wedding recently at the Langham Hotel in Boston. We had fun taking some Annie Leibowitz/Vogue style group photos at Bond restaurant but my favorite is the cover photo. The bride was waiting in the bridal room just before the ceremony when I got the idea for this shot. With the groom just one door away, I figured it would be interesting to get a shot of them so close together… Fun stuff! Check out the video and feel free to let us know what you think. : )

Oh my G! Vera Wang, purple… The Renaissance, Waterfront… what else do I have to say.  Tiesha and Damien planned a memorable wedding with all the accoutrements.  Their refined style and taste was apparent, truly a thrill to photograph.  Props go out to Kaidi Grant who did a perfect job with the make-up,  Larry Hamilton of Patrice Vinci Salon who did the bride’s hair, Theresa Arsenault of Dogwood Floral Design who absolutely smashed it with her beautiful arrangements, and Paula L.  from The Icing on the Cake.   Earrings and bracelet: Alexis Bittar-Bloomingdales,  Shoes: Vera Wang Lavender Label, Invitations/Stationary: Rob Charlton –Goosefish Press, Clutch purse: Nordstroms, Favor/Trinket dish: Tanya Chin – Zinnia Designs.
