This was such a fun shot to make happen. One of my brides had this great idea to photograph the entire bridal party instead of an engagement session. We worked together to develop the idea and here it is, Bachelorette Party Meets the Bachelor Party!

August 29, 2012See Our Work on TV Tonight
August 24, 2012We’re Back!
August 14, 2012…from vacation. Who needs peace and tranquility when you can work instead! Our family vacation was wonderful and relaxing. We spent one week in Gorham, NH and two weeks in Eastham, on Cape Cod. It was full of hanging out at the beach (for my wife and daughter, not me because I dislike sun and salt water… I know… poor me) and trying to gorge myself on this year’s over supply of lobster. This trip was also marked by a ridiculous amount of kids’ theater as well as theater for grown-ups. We saw the Knuffle Bunny musical (twice), Circus Smirkus, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, a marionette show, and most importantly… Legally Blonde, the Musical (which was surprisingly excellent).
I was also happy to have the opportunity to photograph my niece while on vacation for the cover of Kidding Around magazine. We submitted the photo straight out of the camera, no Photoshop no retouching. We got the cover spot, yay! Issue comes out and I see they gave photo credit to the wrong photographer. Not yay… at all.
Vacation!

Also, if anyone out there is interested in being on the show, they are currently casting for it and here’s some more info…. or e-mail them your contact info (full name, phone number, age, where you live), your wedding date and some photos ASAP to Ifoundthegown@gmail.com.
What?! Really!?
June 18, 2012What?! Really!? When I first saw this image I couldn’t really believe that I took it. I love this picture. The photo is of a good friend of mine, who is also a photographer, and her partner. It’s always a such a nice compliment to have a photographer or artist ask me to photograph them. For this e-session we rowed (or actually the couple rowed me while I relaxed in the canoe) to Misery Island off shore from Beverly, MA. It was quiet on the island without another person in sight for the whole time. I felt so honored to be part of such a great experience. The couple is so obviously in love, it made my job capturing their expressions, that much easier. The weather was beautiful, too. I’ll share more images from the session, soon! ( :^D)
Post Pinterest Engagement Sessions
May 29, 2012It’s a game changer! Pinterest has already had a strong impact on wedding photography. Because I’m currently following this bride-to-be on Pinterest, I was able to see exactly what she likes, what photo ideas that I also resonate with, and find a way to create them. This e-session was a lot of fun and here are a few examples.
State Pride
May 23, 2012I’m so proud of Massachusetts! There are so many places, not just in the U.S but the world, where same-sex marriage is not recognized. I’m happy to live in a place that values love and marriage, regardless of sexual orientation. This first photo says it all for me. Congratulations to the couple; I hope you have a long prosperous life together.
