Baby Shower Invitations

My fiance/studio manager and I are having a west coast baby shower. This is my suggestion for the invitations. I was unsure if blogging personal work with our names on it was a little narcissistic. But hey, I figured it’s relevant : ) This was done in our living room, with the portable lighting studio…and yes, we make house calls. Hope you like it!

Babies Abound

I see pregnant women everywhere! Maybe it’s simply because we’re having a baby that I’ve noticed… that much more. This picture was taken recently and is of my beautiful fiance. It’s quickly becoming one of our recent favorites. I really enjoy the overexposure of the window and the lens flare that creates the slight greenish hue by her shoulder. I hope you like it!

This is a photo of a good friend of mine, Melissa, who is also a photographer; see her work here. This was taken at the end of a wedding reception, which we shot together. This was just a quick grab shot that I liked so I figured I’d share. Her belly is pretty big and she looked truly radiant.

Jay and Cindy’s Pregnancy

I’ve been fortunate enough to be with Jay and Cindy photographically, from the day he proposed, to their engagement, to their wedding and to their pregnancy photo session (pictured here). It’s a girl!

This mother of soon-to-be-two came into the studio for a pregnancy photo session. This is going to be a surprise anniversary present for her husband, so I can’t show her face. Check back in to see more highlights.

I also photographed this couples wedding not too long ago. It’s nice to see families growing and to be there to document it for them.
