Here is the latest installation from our traveling studio. This little bugger couldn’t be any cuter. All of these photos were taken at the family’s home. I hope you like them

Baby Jake

April 22, 2009

Here we have the latest from our traveling studio. Photographing babies is so rewarding. Mainly because we are always able to get a good shot. Photographing kids in the home environment is really the best way to do it. There’s no waiting in line at the portrait studio while your child gets tired or bored. There’s no rush to get the next kid in there, it’s just you. Got any particular ideas or any specific photos you want taken? Simply let us know, we’re happy to do it.

Bubble Baths & Babies

Here are the most recent additions to our new portrait site that we are currently working on. For this portrait session we traveled to the family’s home in Mansfield. Mom was really helpful and played the art director’s role very well.

Five Month Favorites

March 23, 2009

Our traveling studio just had another photo shoot. Our shooting space was a little tight but we were still able to get two locations to shoot in. I was really happy about the flowers for the background, they looked really great with the red vase and green table. This beautiful little baby is 5 months old now. Her and her Mom were very charming and a pleasure to photograph. Here are my favorites from the shoot.

SuperBaby!

Our Traveling Studio is back at it again. We are currently in the process of creating a new website designed strictly for portraits. In this process I’ve been talking with a lot of Moms and Dads about their experiences in portrait studios. What I’ve learned is that our Traveling Studio allows us to make sure we get a good photo. How do we do it? Well, it’s not magic.

1. Children are often most comfortable at their home, this allows us a better chance to get that winning smile.
2. There’s no waiting in line like you would at a portrait studio in the mall or Babies-R-Us. We can come to your home after the baby’s nap or when is most convenient for you.

3. Flexibility. If for some reason the baby didn’t sleep well that night or didn’t nap that morning, you can always call us and push the time of the portrait session back an hour or two.
4. The backgrounds are unique. We bring with us standard backgrounds that you’ll find at a portrait studio but usually prefer to use the natural setting of your home. The background in the second photo, is simply the blanket from the crib bedding. These photos are examples of what it can look like.
The bottom line is that we will make sure you get a great photo of your child.

San Francisco Smiles

We’re back! Our trip to the Bay area was awesome. It was so nice to get away from the winter wind, and back just in time for St. Patrick’s day. While on the left coast, I photographed baby Chase’s 2nd birthday party at the Fire station. Even though the kids loved it, I think the parents liked it more : ) Here are the photo highlights.

Last week our traveling studio brought us to Taunton, MA for this photo shoot. Even though the cute little baby pictured here is only 6 weeks old, she was totally charming and allowed us to get a few great photos of her. From Bouquets to Babies

December 15, 2008

I had the privilege of photographing this couple’s wedding. They’ve been blessed with another addition to their family and I was also there for them to record this part of their lives. This is truly a wonderful job, to be able to share the beautiful moments shared by couples and families. And…. I don’t have to be there for the wedding planning headaches or the crying babies part, how great is that! : )

I seriously laughed out loud when I saw the smile in the last photo. How cute is this kid? This is the latest log from the traveling photo studio… again all of these photos were taken at the clients home. It was such a pleasure to work with this Mom and son combo. They were so cute, Dad should be pretty happy when he sees the photos, huh?

At Your Home for the Holidays

December 11, 2008

Here are a couple photos from a recent photo shoot by the Dias Photography traveling studio. These two kids are really cute and at just the right age to make getting a good shot really difficult. None-the-less we got the shot, in their living room with their very own stockings in the background. With both of the little ones looking at the camera smiling happily, what more could you ask for.
